graves as Prince On the drive from Wave Rock near Hyden in the town to Perth it will be about one and a half hours to the small town of Corrigin. About 5 km outside of town on the dusty street of the Brookton Highway is an oversized dog statue on the roadside in the middle of Australia Desert. That's curious. In the desert of the Australian wheat belt, you find yourself suddenly back in a dog cemetery. Many grandiose tombs awaken in me the impression that Australia's population had a particularly close relationship with their dogs. The Corrigin Dog Cemetery is a unique feature. It was created as a "strike", the dog, Paddy Wright, caved. Paddy was looking for a burial place for his dog and the community allowed him to strike at the point where today the cemetery to bury. Then the dog died of Alan Henderson and he buried him at this point, even a grave stone erected for the animal. Alan served in the impact these and all other graves, this came later, and so came by and by the Corrigin Dog Cemetery which now has 80 or more dogs graves. The graves themselves are very personalized and the texts on them are the obituaries for people close to right, a further indication that Australians consider their dog as a family member and treat him so, beyond death.
I like best is the obituary for Jedda, the 16 years was old and died in 1998:
"In memory of the greatest dog that ever danced to do with his barking and understandable words and could even dance.
They hunted rabbits, but only to play with them

In an annex explains the operator receiving the dog cemetery on his website with the following words:
